SAKSHAM – Skill and Employment

Objective:

Providing employment skills to underprivileged youth from rural area including women, schools students and handicapped.

SAKSHAM – SKILL AND EMPLOYEMENT

Rural Maharashtra are facing employment challenges due to lack of skills and employment opportunities among youth. Villagers are migrating out from their village in search of income. Families migrate in search of income along with school kids. This leads to Migration issues in Adivasi school students. Youth in remote Adivasi villages has ability to become skill force for our country. If they get enough opportunities in their villages for learning skills and employment opportunities, they are ready to learn and use their skills to generate income for their families.

KEY ATTRACTION OF SAKSHAM

SAKSHAM SEWING SKILL AND EMPLOYMENT CENTER –

SAKSHAM has provided certified skill training to more than #1000 women on industrial sewing machines and help them to generate self – employment

SAKSHAM runs #4 rural employment centres with industrial sewing machines helping more than #50 women to generate income for their family

SAKSHAM SCHOOL SKILL PROGRAM

SAKSHAM has conducted various skills program in ZP schools for higher standard Girls and Boys.SAKSHAM has provide skill training to more than #2000 school girls on Sewing Skills, Embroidery skills, Aari work training, Carpentry skills , Drawing skills etc

Conducting special skill training for #501 Hearing and Speaking impaired students from #5 schools in Palghar districts.

SAKSHAM SKILLS FOR WOMEN AND YOUTH

SAKSHAM has provided skill training on professional Embroidery and Aariwork training to more than #1000 women from various villages in palghar districts.

Conducted and participated in various exhibitions for rural women helping them to participate and learn making and selling variety of products.
