HOGA – HELPING OUT GOLDEN AGE
HOGA – “Helping Out Golden Age” is one of the Projects by PENS SAHYOG FOUNDATION to refill Life into Golden ages i.e. by serving dear elderly orphans who are ageing alone with no family available to address their care-giving needs or financial support
GOAL – To reach out and help maximum underprivileged, needy people and provide them with life-essentials and other necessary requisites.
Our main objectives for different categories of beneficiaries under HOGA are as follows –
- No one should sleep hungry.
- The elderly in their golden age should have social security and lifelong supply of essentials like food, and medicines. Possibly help them with means through which they can earn for self.
- The differently abled should have a support system so that they can have means of mobility and be more self-sufficient.
- Medical treatment for elders/children having ear/eye defect (Medical Campaigns/Checkups/Treaments/Operations like catara
KEY ATTRACTION OF HOGA
- Personal Survey – PENS HOGA team surveyed and shortlisted beneficiary who are extremely needy and orphanaged.
- Repeated Help – Team HOGA team created a distribution plan which will work repeatedly every month and monitor regularly.
- Medical Help – Special medical help in terms of Medical camp, Medical devices and medicines require on regular basis has been provided in HOGA.
- Shelter and Income Source – Primary objective of HOGA to provide repeated help by empowering these people by creating a mechanism of earning source for these people.
- Corporate and Personal Adoption – Team HOGA has kept possibility for Corporates groups and Volunteers to adopt these old age and orphanage people under corporate social responsibility.

Age – 69 Single, has Asthma, looking after 4 grandkids
Elderly single lady, struggling for food. Need medical, financial and educational support for grandkids

Age: – 33, farmer, no left leg, has 3 kids
Need underarm crutches, struggling with meals, also need other financial, educational assistance etc.
Kairi Chaitya Bhurkut
Age – 67 Single, Widow
Elderly single lady, working as labor for survival, minimal income, struggling for food, other essentials.
Shalu Babu Kanhat
Age – 65 Single, does labour work, earns handful, husband has asthama
Elderly single lady, nothing to eat, struggling for medical expenses, food, no ration card
Parvati Ramu Medha
Age – 70 Single, husband has asthama
Elderly single lady, struggling for food, for her own health and needs medical and financial support.
Santi Vajya Mohara
Age: – 55 Single, Widow
Elderly single lady, no ration card, works as labour with mere income, struggling for food and other essentials
Parasram Bhata Mohon
Age – 57, Severe throat issue, cant eat properly, son physically disabled
While eating, food comes off throat, son’s college 22 kms away but due to disability unable to travel daily, wife works as maid. Need financial assistance
