PENS SAHYOG FOUNDATION is doing environmental projects like plantation drives, Cleanliness drive While doing this we have observed need of a strong campaign to save mother earth from no gradable plastic. is celebrating its 4th successful year. This is big opportunity to promote “GHAR GHAR COTTON BAG” among citizens. Unless we stop using plastic in our day to day life this problem is not going to stop. One easy way to stop plastic is to stop its manufacturing but as need of plastic is everywhere, we cannot stop its use unless we promote alternate of plastic bags, i.e Cotton bags PENS SAHYOG FOUNDATION has Saksham-Women employment center with 50+sewing skilled labour women in rural area of Dahanu. This center can be leverage to make simple cotton bags to promote ““GHAR GHAR COTTON BAG”” project and will also generate direct employment in rural area

PENS will Celebrate its 4th Successful year by creating awareness campaign on "GHAR GHAR COTTON BAG" with the help of Volunteers, NSS students, corporates , School /College Students.

1000 Cotton bags booth and 1 LAKH Cotton bags be made in Saksham - underprivileged Women employment center and promoted instead of plastic bags

"GHAR GHAR COTTON BAG" will be promoted in each Local shop, Markets, roads, beaches and everywhere with the help of volunteers

Corporate Logo with Slogans will be printed on each bag and bags will be distributed in shops and local market.

BENEFITS OF GHAR GHAR COTTON BAG PROJECT

– 100000 cotton bags along with 1000 Cotton bag Booth will be made in PENS-Saksham Rural Women Employment center, Dahanu generating direct employment for 50 + Women

– "GHAR GHAR COTTON BAG" will be promoted on occasion of PENS's 4th Annual day celebration throughout Mumbai and nearby City
